Expected in Australian Toyota dealerships early next year, Toyota has provided us with a first official look at the cabin of the new model.
Toyota confirming the CH-R will feature a 6.1” touchscreen that Toyota says extends from the instrument panel rather than being enclosed by it.
They say this enhances driver visibility due to the design requiring a lower profile for the upper dashboard.
Under the bonnet of the Toyota CH-R will be an 85kW/185Nm 1.2 litre turbo-petrol engine and front-wheel-drive and AWD drivetrains will be offered with a choice of six-speed manual or CVT auto transmissions.
Finally, Toyota also confirming local models will feature safety systems including autonomous braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure alert with steering control, automatic high beam and a reverse camera.
At this stage though there is no word on Australian pricing, we will keep you updated.
